Founder & CEO
Alexis Vaughan is the Founder and CEO of CrewWorks Australia.
With more than 25 years in the events industry, Alexis has built a career bringing ambitious projects to life and delivering exceptional experiences for audiences around the globe. From immersive exhibitions to festivals and major public events, she thrives on the fast-paced, ever-changing world of live events.
Alexis founded CrewWorks in late 2025 with a vision to build a different kind of events company - one that places people and partnership at the centre of everything it does. Under her leadership, CrewWorks has grown rapidly to support some of Australia’s leading producers, venues and experience creators.
Based on Magnetic Island in tropical North Queensland, Alexis leads CrewWorks from the Island Office, while travelling extensively to support projects across the country.
Entrepreneur, problem-solver and experience enthusiast, she believes that extraordinary experiences begin with extraordinary people.
Amy Burchell
Head of Operations & Events
Amy Burchell brings extensive experience across events, operations, workforce management and guest experience.
With a strong operational background and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences, Amy oversees the day-to-day delivery of projects across Australia, ensuring crews, clients and venues receive the highest level of support. From workforce planning and rostering to on-site event delivery, Amy plays a critical role in ensuring every project is delivered safely, seamlessly and professionally.
Known for her calm approach, meticulous attention to detail and ability to keep complex operations moving, Amy is often the driving force behind the scenes, coordinating teams, solving problems and ensuring no detail is overlooked.
Passionate about people and operational excellence, Amy is committed to building strong relationships with clients and crew alike, helping create memorable experiences for audiences across exhibitions, immersive experiences, festivals and live events nationwide.
